9-patch nearly there.

My repro 9 patch is back from the quilters...it was made with blocks from an Australian swap hosted by Christine. It isn't bound yet...everyone knows how much I hate binding...but I plan to at least cut out the binding tomorrow. I was really happy with the layout I used & I love the chocolate sashing.
Thankyou so much to all who joined in the swap & especially Christine for organising it all.
It was one of those glorious days yesterday...calm winter sunshine...lovely to sit outside.
Perfect day for taking a pic of the quilt on my back deck.

  1. Your quilt turned out great, I love the way you put it together with the 4 patches.
I don't mind binding once it is cut and stitched on by machine ready for me to hand stitch it down.

    cheers

  5. Wow, thats a lotta 9 patch blocks...I don't know if I'd have had the patience. I hate to do binding too but I'm finding that if I make the binding when I send the quilt out and put it on the minute it comes back that I get it done quicker!!!
    Congrats on a beautiful quilt...
Again, I'll take this one too if you don't have someone to give it to :)
