Whilst cleaning up last week I rediscovered these vintage chenille squares lurking at the back of the meat safe.
Gorgeous squares...waiting to be made into something...I am thinking a retro comforter...soft, fluffy & oh so '60's. As a little girl I had a very beautiful lemon chenille bedspread...groovy!
Any ideas?

A great find for sure! Looking forward to seeing your new vintage quilt. It will be soft and lovely.
ReplyDeleteOH no...I had a chenille bedspread when I was little too, and I loved it. As for your question of "Any Ideas?"....I have one great idea, send them to me :)
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I would just make a patchwork of them and use it as a throw when watching a movie or something....or send them to me LOL

What a lovely collection you have there. Ideas....I think keep it simple and let the fabric be the feature. It will be so nice and soft to snuggle under.
ReplyDeletegreat find-you go girl! cheers Teri
ReplyDeleteI also had a bed cover too... it was white with 3 ballet girls dancing... it really did keep me warm...

ReplyDeleteWhat a Great Find...love chenille, I remember having a pink chenille bedspread.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with them.
My chenille bedspread was pink and beautiful. Unfortunately my sister developed a lot of allergies and the bedspread had to be replaced with one that could be washed more frequently.
ReplyDeleteI think your hidden stash would make a lovely warm snuggly quilt.
They say if you hold onto something long enough it becomes fashionable again!!!
ReplyDeleteThey would make a perfect snuggle rug!
ReplyDeleteI had an orange chenille bedspread and my parents had a purple one to match their purple carpet LOL - very 70's!
Lovely finds..:o)))
