I have an aversion to it.
Long story.
But this week I thought that I would commence binding my Soul Searching quilt.
Note I said commence not complete.
I adore this quilt and the journey that I had making it. Just love it, really odd that I love it that much, but I do.
So, the binding was made....

And stitched on...

But I couldn't finish it because...

The cat sat on it!

Don't blame the poor cat! Send them to me and I will do your bindings.
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny....I hate binding too...but I don't have a cat! Take it from a revent finisher......finishing is better.
ReplyDeleteSend it on over Cardy . I love doing bindings (I also love that quilt so if you do send it to me you may not get it back for a while )
ReplyDeleteNot a good excuse girlie....get that binding on and tacked down!
ReplyDeleteShoo cat! LOL
Peggy
I think it is hard to finish up a project you love...kind of like saying good bye.
ReplyDeleteI think the cat excuse could work for a day...
Good luck!
So cats help with procrastination too? The quilt is gorgeous and no wonder you have loved doing it so much...
ReplyDeleteHugz
Well that gave me a smile. :) Gorgeous quilt. Hugs,xx.
ReplyDeleteHah, really wish I could help you with this one. I love binding!

ReplyDeletehaha thats so funny Alison,i love the quilt though its gorgeous, wonder if the cat will move anytime soon, lol.xx
ReplyDeleteIt's funny I love the binding as it means I am actually going to finish the quilt. Have lots of tops in my cupboard unfinished that need quilting first. Love your post. I guess the cat is telling you he needs some of your attention. Hugs....
ReplyDeleteI love that quilt too! Wish we were closer - I would bind for you :)
ReplyDeleteI say give the kitty some needle and thread....
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny and the cat so cute. You have trained that cat well, I might try and train our dogs to do that.
ReplyDeleteI think that's the perfect reason for procrastinating.
ReplyDeleteYour cat irons, but doesnt sew? Trade her in!
ReplyDeleteHehehehe you sound soooo like me, I hate binding my quilts it's the one thing that stops them from being finished :) Barb.
ReplyDeleteYeah yeah....blame the cat!! Lol
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the quilt finished!
Bad Aris!
ReplyDeleteWell I just hope the dog doesn't EAT your homework. Excuses, excuses.
ReplyDeleteI was about to say just what wish2stitch said but glanced up... lucky....My latest homework excuse is the home printer is broken or I have lost my USB Miss.
ReplyDeleteOh Cardy???...any excuse. Sh... don't tell anyone but I have 2 in the cupboard waiting to be bound.. Its just one of those things when you juggle time. So I better get into it too.....LOL May be we should have a little competition...

ReplyDeleteLol, I love the look on your cat's face. With binding I just tell myself it's one stitch at a time and it will be over before i know it.
