Cross stitch...mmm delicious!

Cross stitch is a bit of a release for me...a few quiet minutes, no sewing machine, rotary cutter or iron...quick and portable (provided I have light and sadly...magnification!).
I am currently working on this design...
Feather Your Nest- With Thy Needle& Thread
DMC cotton-1 strand
28ct Cashel linen
Worked over 1 thread
Slow progress, but relaxing. Nowadays I have to enlarge the chart too...sigh...but that is okay...but what wasn't okay was the way this obviously delicious design was nibbled...hmmm...any ideas? I suppose this may have been what was meant by "Sampler"????

LOL Cardy...I wonder what has been munching on your pattern? If you keep on showing us your beautiful cross-stitching, I'll be pulling mine out again :)

Pretty design--wonder who was hungry? I have a cute little shop in my town called Feather Your Nest.

I hate to tell you but the need for magnification increases with each passing year. Wish they would make zoom lens specs... how handy would that be.

Love your stitchery. You'd better hurry up and finish it before the nibbler comes back for more!

Lovely stitching! Ugh! Your poor chart....better get done while you still have some left!

might be slow progress Alison, but it is looking pretty good! Just the thing for winter, and you are certainly being very productive this winter!

What a beautiful design. I have to enlarge charts too but I'm not quite at the magnifying glass yet. Won't be long, lol.

LOL--I was wondering if you were going for the artsy look with the nibbled corners of the chart. LOL Your WIP looks great! Over one--kudos to you.
