Life is back to routine and I am trying to fit in that precious sewing time. A dear friend said the other night that she knew I "needed" to stitch each day...(stops me getting unhinged- or perhaps less unhinged?)...but I have been buzzing from one WIP to another, with no set plan. I am big on lists.
So I have started the week with some must do tasks that I want to finish sooner rather than later.
1. Nundle quilt- started at our retreat a few weeks ago. Having fun with this one...especially enjoying the machine applique of the circles...why didn't I start doing it years ago???
2. TTS Stitchalong quilt- super slack with this one...millions of others have theirs finished and I fell seriously behind...oops! But I have been dedicating some stitching time and am now making progress (I don't think it will save me as the SAL-Controller is about to discipline me!!!)
3. Paper piecing- I am surrounded by papers and fabric scraps...and loving their portability. Here are the latest little treasures...thanks Kerry & Peg!
4. Le Petite- third last project...and there was nothing sweet about this Honeycomb! I have done these half hexie tops before with no hassle but this one was tricky...don't know why...perhaps a reflection of the sewers mood???? So she will be a cushion cover instead!!
And the list will continue!

whow Alison you have been busy and on such beautiful projects, well done
The half hexagon quilt is next on my to do list. Can't wait.
Your projects all look beautiful. I've ordered the pattern for your first project. :) Hugs,
Machine applique is the way to go! It was the only way I could have ever finished all the circles on my Dresden Plate quilt.
Stitching does keep us grounded, doesn't it? You're doing great work! Especially love the first quilt.
I love the projects you are working on, especially the Nundle Quilt.
Great projects.... Love everything you do....
Sandyn
I still have not finish my Christmas quilt either....
Welcome back from vacation! Gosh, you've been a busy bee! I do like those projects you have going! Sweet! thanks for sharing! Cheers!
Everything looks so lovely Alison. I have made half-hexies before but not with the little triangle/diamond inserts - they look great.
You need to take a breath Cardy... regroup, hide all the half done stuff away somewhere and start sewing something new!!! ;) Looks like you've got too much on the go.
You know it's funny, I have been aimlessly going from one quilt to another today, then I read your post! Yes, making lists is good! I love all of these you have on the go, it will be great to see your progress. Thanks for the idea! xo
I love lists too!!!
You have lots of lovely projects there. The red circles on the first quilt look great. Love your fussy cut paper piecing.
wow love the Nundle quilt, the paper piecing looks great at well, good luck with the list...such a shame you will have to waste so much time having Lunch on friday...heheheh
I have gone to heaven at Cardyland.....just check out that paper piecing...wahoo..
Wow, that's a lot of sewing. And all looks great. That little bit of applique I did was all machine. I have a good machine and I'm not going to stitch by hand....lol.
What is the paper piecing? It looks good. Wouldn't have picked that as paper. But then again, I'm simply clueless when it comes to quilting :)
Oh no not me, I wouldn't swap from one project to the next, very big grin......
Love your list
Happy stitching
I do project rotation and I can't seem to be disciplined for very long. Occassionally I find the blinkers but I don't get bored.
It all looks normal to me.
I love that Nundle quilt, I love anything with circles.
LOVE your Honeycomb!!!!!!
I would definitely be saying "less unhinged"...........lol........the Nundle quilt is looking great......keep working away on the TTS quilt I know you WILL get it done sooner rather then later.........
i'm really enjoying my paper piecing at the moment too.........
are you having lunch with "someone" tomorrow???..........
Good luck with your list. I'm sure you'll have a gorgeous finished project in no time. I hope the half hexies sorth themselves out.

Isn't it amazing how a list helps us focus. Looks like you are making headway and creating some beautifu projects.
I am with you empty out the half finished basket and feel good. Summer is here.
You have some lovely projects on your 'to do' list. The Nundle quilt is so cheerful... love the pattern. Good luck with your finishes.
Wish I was disciplined enough to make a list.... and stick to it!
