The last few weeks have been taken up with family, friends and work...lovely really, but from today we have a little break until visitors return for Christmas. Time to catch up with Christmas stitching and a bit of a tidy-up before the festive break. How do I let so much mess build up???
We have had lots of rain here...and apparently more to come. I hate our hot summers so I am quite happy with our current period of cooler weather & rain. I don't even mind mowing the lawn.
Some stitching tonight...I am caught up with the circle game blocks & even have the first round of frames on them all...finished Number 7 tonight, but no pic as yet. Next one shouldn't be too far off. They are hanging on my improv design wall...fun to gaze at.
Hope to start a bit of Christmas decorating on the weekend...have a good clean as I go!
Have you started Christmas decorating yet???

We just had the humidity and heat but no rain here today. It threatened to rain all day but nothing happened, yuck.
Love your Circle Game blocks well done on keeping up, I so need to get back into them, I'm way way behind. It doesn't help going backwards and forwards to Brisbane for a couple of days each week.
Your circles are stunning!
I love your circle blocks. They look fabulous all together.
the blocks are looking gorgeous Cardy.........well worth all the hand piecing..........
wet here too..........
Your circles are looking good. Lovely wet week here too - great for hand quilting.
The circles are fabulous. Lots of rain here too - I'm missing our lovely spring weather. Christmas cleaning for us next week and readiness for John chopping down a tree at the tree farm next Saturday.
Yes raining here too... but you are making the most of the sorry weather! :)
We have the overcast skies, but it is lovely and cool... I hate the heat too, so I'm loving this... Gorgeous circles Cardy...
Alison, they are so visually stunning, and I bet even better in the 'fabric' :@

Your Circle Game blocks look great. I'm way behind because I had shoulder surgery in June and couldn't use my right arm for eight weeks! Does your back and white dot fabric have lines on it? The piece I got with my kit does but I don't see the lines in pictures so I wondered if everyone got that same fabric. I'm really anxious to get back to the blocks but there won't be much time before the holidays. Congratulations on keeping up.
Just love these Cardy...so wet here not good for our farmers at all...
So glad you have had plenty of family and visitors. Aren't they just the best kind of mixed blessing you can hope for?
