Teetering on the edge...

Here are the circle game blocks placed together...

it is a fabulous pattern and I have really enjoyed the process. It has been an enjoyable, though lengthy process, and it is great to smell a finish in the, hopefully, not too distant future. The blocks are entirely hand pieced, a process I have really enjoyed...portable, quiet and contemplative.
But after this lengthy journey, I am actually contemplating sewing the blocks together by machine, I am actually quite terrified that, after getting this far, that I will lose my oomph sewing the top together by hand. Does this make me a quitter?

I am now working on the appliqué borders...slowly this project will come together and I know I will love the result. I am glad that this project still holds a "spark" for me!

It's turning out so well. No, you're not a quitter to machine sew the blocks together. Looking forward to seeing the borders.

Machine sew those suckers and celebrate a finish....once you finish the borders of course......and machining the blocks together certainly doesn't make you a quitter..in fact I would vote you the person most likely NOT to quit.

Love it, I'm happy to hear how much you do too. Machine or hand sewing the blocks sound all right in my book.

Long term projects have a way of making us lose interest however this one is so fabulous I can only imagine it gets better with each "layer."

I would be Machining the Blocks regardless me thinks you've done Enough Hand Stitching on this Baby.

Yes! Sew all those seams by machine! I hand pieced my Museum Medallion mostly by hand but even Judy Newman, the designer, suggested sewing the long seams by machine! No one will EVER know! It's looking great, so go for it!

Such an awesome project, I remember seeing it in the flesh last year. After hand sewing all of those curves, straight lines would be such a bore. Fire up your machine!!!

Quitter? NO! Quilter, YES!! So sensible to piece them together by machine. I do it, so it must be a good idea!!
