My dear daughter decided to make a table runner as a gift...

She is quite pleased with it!

At sewing last week, the always clever Kylie was making a tree skirt.

I have been plugging away on my amitie BOM...it certainly has been a challenge to get all the little points right...I think we are getting better each block, but it is certainly not for the faint of heart!

I had to make a mug bag for a Christmas swap...now I have made a few as I am enjoying playing with the colours. Funny how sometimes you make something, then can't stop! Also been playing with some linen...

ReplyDeleteThe Amitie BOM is looking gorgeous . . .fun fabric choices....and those bags are rather cute... I know what you mean about doing a "run" of items....and why not..as long as you get to keep one alls good.
So nice that you have passed on the stitching gene to your daughter! Love the mug bags, making duplicates is always wise when you find a winning pattern, cos sure as eggs you will get a request for one!
ReplyDeleteA great array of creativity!

ReplyDeleteBusy busy! Those mug bags are cute....I haven't so much as looked at my BMF blocks for ages, but they might be on the cards if I have some free stitching time in the New Year - who knows I might have a couple of weeks of sitting on my butt doing nothing else but stitch....although sitting on my butt might not be pleasant! Yikes!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun trip to Tassie it's a beautiful place. Love the sewing and linen is such a nice look
