I have been MIA for a few days...we had a violent electrical storm on Wednesday evening & our modem (my voicebox) was a casualty. After many phone calls & much fuss the modem has been replaced & our connection re-established. Lots of rain, thunder & lightning...the rain is still appreciated, but I can do without the rest! I also noticed that since the makeover my stat counter had disappeared...it has been reinserted today (I feel so clever!) & I am back to normal at last.
I have been enjoying the latest block from the Sue Ross BOM from MO...having a bit of a play around with it too....fun! Not too much else going on sewing wise...too much time in paid employment & when I am home everyone else is here as they are all on holidays...nicer to share the time with them. We saw "Avatar" yesterday which I really enjoyed.

Wow you sure are having some weather extremes. Makes life a little too interesting I bet. Glad you're having some family time through the summer.

Some of the storms have been amazing. Sorry you lost your modem, we rely so much on them for contact. Glad your all fixed up :)

I have heard that Avatar is a really good movie, we might try and catch it this weekend while we are in town. The storms you have been having have been really amazing huh, especially at this time of year!

Aargh! I am falling way behind with my Sue Ross BOMs. I had trouble with block two and let that intimidate me. Then I got a new debit card and forgot to update my information with MO, so just got the last two blocks, and another one will probably come any day now. I'm coming up on a three day weekend. I'd better buckle down and get to work!
