Fun in my fabric world....

Lunch with a good egg!

Friday was one of those nice days when you get to catch up with a bloggy friend.
Trish from Too Many Eggs in one Basket lives about 2hrs away from me, so we met part way at a fabric shop, Busy Needles at Singleton (Hi Bev!) then had some lunch. Great fun!
Saturday night was spent at a dear friend's daughters 21st birthday party (rural halls are sooo cold!)...I was a textile artiste (!) and Lea was an artist ( I think she borrowed the specs from Elton!).
Then reality hit and I headed back to the books. By all accounts a glorious day outside, but I was here...assignment half done...should have it done over the next week. Then I hope to finish some of that sewing! I am having trouble leaving comments in some formats of blogger...anyone else?

Heck.... all those books look like a lot of hard work to me. Good thing you had some R & R and a couple of nice days out to help you face it head on!

Yes, Blogger has had big issues, especially if you try and leave comments.
I have to stay signed out now, and then it will sometimes let me use my account name.

Yep... I did get a weird comment from you yesterday! Looks like you had fun at the 21st!!

Hi Alison It looks like you have had a couple of fun days. I was having the comment posting problem as well, but Chookyblue gave me a tip that she had heard. When you sign in to google, do not click on the "stay signed in" button. It is a bit of a pain having to log in again for each session, but at least I can now get comments to work.

Yep...had the same problem with the comments, but turned off the "stay signed in" tick, and all seems to be ok now. Shame about reality...mine involves an ironing basket that is almost touching the ceiling LOL. Bloggy friends are the best!

Isn't it fun catching up with blogger friends? Looks like you have had a lovely time before you had to hit the books, thinking of you while you work. I thought I saw a message the other day that blogger is not supported now by mozilla firefox and I need to change to google chrome. I wonder if this make any difference? Who knows what is going on?!! xo

Nice way to spend a Friday I'd say. That study doesn't look like much fun, I guess it will be worth it in the end - more sewing time. lol

Looks like a great time! Not sure about leaving comments cuz I haven't been a blog hoppin' girl! Yours and a couple of others are the only ones I've been hopping for a visit! Let's see if I can post this! ;o) Enjoy the books! Strangely, I sort of miss it! Hum.... Phd..... naw having too much fun at the moment! ;o) Cheers!

Yikes on all those books!! The meet up with a bloggy friend and the 21st sounded fun, though. ;)

I was having problems leaving comments until I switched to Mozilla Firefx as my browser. I heard that others were having problems with Firefox and then Chrome did the trick for them. So far so good for me with Firefox, though.
