This week in review...

...as it is whizzing by so fast! Spring is officially here...the garden is showing signs of life & needing some attention...that will be this weekends job!
Looking for somewhere for Mum to purchase...a sad but necessary move from the home they built as newlyweds...hoping that the quilt will add a smile to a tough time...some more blocks done...five to go!
Some pretty cupcakes made by DD...they always cheer you up!
Chookyblue gave me some of her farm fresh eggs recently...they were beautiful! But look at the amazing colour of theses eggs...this one really is chooky blue!

Best of luck for your mom finding a new place. Every home needs a quilt and one made especially by her daughter is sure to make things happier.

Thanks for the reminder to get my cake out of the oven! Well timed, thanks to Miss E! The quilt looks great. Is your mum going to buy something smaller in her area... or move closer to family?

A quilt is a very healing and loving thing. I always feel like it's a big hug.....your mom will love it. I know I would. I saw a saying this week, and it hit me good. I really liked it, I'll share it with you......"this may not be the best, but I will make the best of it". I'm sure your mom will have memories wherever she lives! Thanks for sharing.

What a great quilt it will be for your mom! I LOVE the pattern - love stars of all types and don't know that I've seen this one before. Your color choices are great too!
The best to your mom in finding a new place. My parents are approaching the same point in life.
